台南南化今傳一起鼬獾染狂犬病

台南市今再傳1起狂犬病案例，是8月5日在南化區東和里路旁被民眾發現的衰弱鼬獾，防疫人員到場時，這隻鼬獾就已死亡，今被疾病管制署驗出染病。台南市動物防疫保護處表示，無法確認這隻鼬獾是否咬過人或犬貓，但因身體無外傷，研判沒有被其他野生動物咬過；目前台南市累積8起狂犬病案例，都是鼬獾。
