世界9大爭議食物　台灣非法海豚交易上榜

美國有線電視新聞網（CNN）28日發布的世界9大爭議食物的報導中，其中一項就包括台灣西部非法販售海豚，報導指出台灣1989年就已禁止買賣和食用海豚，不過每年在台灣仍有約1千隻海豚在公開市場非法買賣，特別是在台灣西部，路邊攤就可見販售食用海豚肉，除了台灣，日本也是存在海豚買賣的國家，不過在日本銷售和食用海豚都是合法的。
 
另外，中國則有三項食物上榜包括魚翅、穿山甲和蠑螈，報導指因食用魚翅導致四分之一的鯊魚種面臨絕種危機，在亞洲只有台灣是唯一禁止為了魚翅捕獵鯊魚的國家。（國際中心／綜合外電報導）
