大螢幕已成行動智慧裝置必行之路，為了兼顧輕便性，各家廠牌也積極挑戰超薄極限，剛上市的SamsungGALAXY Tab S平板電腦就強調6.6mm的超薄機身，5吋的HUAWEIAscend P7的厚度也僅6.5mm，即日起在台開賣的Sony Xperia T3，同樣主打7mm超薄設計。

　Sony Xperia T3配備5.3吋螢幕、1.4GHz四核心處理器、110萬畫素前置鏡頭、800萬畫素主相機，霧面材質搭配金屬邊框，重量僅約148g，4G方面則支援800、900、1800、2100、2600MHz等頻段，並不支援700MHz。

　多樣化照相功能是Sony的強項，Sony Xperia T3也具備Sociallive即時連線分享、AR效果擴增實境攝錄、Timeshift burst最佳照片、創意效果攝錄、玩美彩妝模式等功能，共有薄絲黑、薄霧白、薄暮紫3色，單機價10,990元。
