百度擬於17日宣布投資Uber

知情人士透露，百度決定加入打車戰局，並將於17日宣布戰略投資業務遍布全球的打車軟體Uber，但投資金額還不確定。

新浪報導，百度今日向媒體發出邀請函，表示將於12月17日在北京舉辦新聞發布會，與戰略合作夥伴共同宣布一項重要的跨國投資暨戰略合作簽約儀式，而百度創始人李彥宏將和神秘嘉賓聯袂出席。

消息人士表示，百度的戰略合作方為打車軟體Uber，神秘嘉賓為Uber CEO卡蘭尼克。百度這次戰略入股Uber，投資金額可能不會高於6億美元。因為Uber此前授權發行價值18億美元的新股，而目前已經募集到了12億美元。卡蘭尼克曾發聲明，該公司仍有餘量可供戰略投資者加入。

基於百度在地圖和手機搜索上的流量地位，以及Uber對於進一步拓展大陸市場的野心，雙方自然地走到了一起。此輪投資意味著大陸打車市場將掀起新一波價格戰。
