歐巴馬計畫強化隱私與個資保護法

美國總統歐巴馬將針對資料的處理方法，提議制定新的3條法律。

第一是要求公司於發生資料外洩情事30天內，通知顧客個資是否遭竊。第二是讓顧客在給予公司的個資上，享有更大的控制權。第三是禁止教育軟體製造商，販賣他們從學生蒐集而來的資料。

歐巴馬政府提議制定新法，主要是因去年1年，美國一些大型零售商如Target、家得寶、Staples，和西爾斯都遭到網路竊盜攻擊，盜走信用卡或支付卡的資料。
