媒體日前報導，美方高層官員向政府點名要求撤換駐美代表沈呂巡，外交部長林永樂今天在立法院表示，絕對沒有這件事。

日前有媒體報導，傳出美方高層官員向政府點名要求撤換駐美代表沈呂巡，甚至越過沈呂巡直接與台北的外交部和國安會交涉台美間的政務。

民主進步黨籍立法委員陳歐珀今天在立法院外交及國防委員會質詢林永樂是否有此事，林永樂表示：「我跟委員明確說沒有，絕對沒有」。

林永樂說，這件事情已經落幕，美國在台協會（AIT）處長馬啟思（Christopher J. Marut）前2天參加台美回顧展講很清楚，台美關係有堅實基礎，過去35年持續成長，現在政府秉持低調、零意外原則處理台美關係。

林永樂說，最主要是台美關係先恢復正軌，對雙方面都是最好的結果。
