紐約的暴風雪預測失準

紐約市的暴風雪預測證實只是虛驚一場，曼哈頓中央公園到27日上午7時的積雪仍有7.9吋 (20公分)，但離氣象局預測的36吋，則有遙遠的距離。

獨立的氣象學家說，氣象局信賴錯誤的預測模型是誤判暴風雪路線和衝擊的主因。
