傳 Facebook 本月底可能推類 Flipboard 的新聞閱讀器，命名 Paper

B9ea24f7dd30dea798cf2b2994203aeb 據 Re/code 線人透露，Facebook 有可能於1月底推出類 Flipboard 的聚合式新聞閱讀器，據說命名為 Paper。Paper 可能是一款獨立 app，但也有針對行動端優化的Web版。「Paper」也會聚合來自 New York Times 等媒體的新聞、以及訂閱好友的Facebook 消息流。

該產品是 Facebook News Feed 團隊多年來努力的成果之一，由該公司產品副總裁 Chris Cox 率領。這個想法最初產生時是為了全面改版 NewsFeed，整個項目的名稱是 Reader project。不過，反覆設計之後，Reader project 被分成了幾個項目，去年3 月份的 NewsFeed 新版由於反饋不佳被隱藏了。Paper 是還在醞釀的幾個項目其中之一。

而受 Cox 直接領導的 UI 設計師是 Mike Matas，2011 年 Facebook 買下了 Matas 的初創公司 Push Pop Press，Push Pop 之前的主要業務就是圖書出版軟體，Facebook 稱這些技術將整合至自己旗下的產品之中，想必就是 Paper 了。

如果這次 NewsFeed 團隊的產品產品仍不過關的話，可能就再不會有見光之日了。
