資策會MIC統計，全台有64.2%民眾聽過行動支付，對於所持的智慧型手機能否使用行動支付，聽過行動支付的用戶中，25.8%表示能使用，34.7%無法判斷，39.5%手機功能受限，結果顯示整體手機支援率與概念普及率偏低。

據統計，在已使用行動支付的消費者中，以QR code付款有74%占最大宗，其次為NFC、占50%，在單次最高付款金額，200元以下占12%、201至400元占14%、401至600元占28%、601至800元占16%、801至1000元占18%、1001元以上占12%，近9成消費者單次付款金額在1000元以下。
