前熱刺邊鋒Aaron Lennon在轉會窗期限前以租借方式被艾佛頓簽下，Lennon表示有決心好好把握這次機會，畢竟本季在熱刺新主帥Mauricio Pochettino的執教之下，Lennon上場時間少之又少。

Lennon年僅27歲尚在當打之年，轉到艾佛頓之後仍有大把時間證明自身價值。

「加入擁有輝煌歷史的球會令我非常期待，同時艾佛頓的球員充滿天份，我絕對會好好的抓住這個機會。」Lennon告訴艾佛頓官網。

「艾佛頓主帥的帶兵風格、場上的球風與我擅長做的事不謀而合，在球季剩餘比賽中我會發揮我的最高水平。」

艾佛頓目前以26分暫居英超積分榜12名，Aaron Lennon最快可在本周六主場踢利物浦的比賽中亮相。
