（中央社華盛頓30日綜合外電報導）美國衛生官員今天說，美國診斷出第一宗伊波拉病例，一名男子在西非國家賴比瑞亞感染伊波拉病毒，然後回到德州。

美國疾病管制暨預防中心（Centers for DiseaseControl and Prevention）發言人告訴法新社，這名因出現症狀住院的病人，證實感染伊波拉病毒。

德州衛生部今天說，這名病患目前在達拉斯（Dallas）醫院接受隔離治療，他由西非返回德州後幾天出現伊波拉症狀。

先前有幾名美國醫療人員在西非感染伊波拉病毒後，被空運返美治療，但是這是首宗在美國診斷出的病例。(中央社)
